05 Jul Worthing Osteopaths @ Goring Beach Clinic
Worthing Osteopaths are now resident Osteopaths at Goring Beach – Integrated Healthcare along with our colleagues of Osteoactive.
Worthing Osteopaths was born 9 years ago at the original site of 149 Lyndhurst Road, Worthing. From the one treatment room Annexe to the two treatment conversion we then moved to 244 Ham Road, Worthing into a purpose built D1 medical premises. Two years later we opened our satellite clinic at Beach House, Goring at the old Phoenix Medical Centre. At this time negotiations started to take place to purchase 8 St Johns Parade.
After 2 years, the move into our 1000 sq ft, D1 registered bigger and better premises at 8 St Johns Parade was complete. A 400 sq ft fully equipped rehabiltation gym along with three good sized treatment rooms was complete.
Owned and operated by our parent company Agility Healthcare Ltd, Goring Beach – Integrated Healthcare was born from a desire to have a premises big enough, but not too big so that we could be extremely selective who and what therapies could join us. We did not want to have to take rent off any old therapist just to pay the bills!
Worthing Osteopaths is headed by its Principal Osteopath and founder Dean Dickinson along with his trusted Senior Associates, Carla Hole and Lesley Suter.
Available Monday through to Saturday, early morning (7am) to late evenings (9pm), we are available to provide you with Osteopathy & Cranial Osteopathy.
Osteopathy is a holistic system of treatment for a wide range of medical conditions. It is based on the principle that the good health and harmonious interrelation of skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues are crucial to an individual’s well-being. To an osteopath, for a body to work well its structure and function must work effectively. Osteopathic care comprises of the identification of underlying cause/s of the presenting complaint, treatment using soft-tissue work and gentle physical manipulation, and appropriate self-care or corrective exercise advice to help improve function and prevent re-occurrence. Osteopathy therefore can help acute and long- standing chronic ailments.
We are experienced in Paediatric Osteopathy regularly recieving referrals from local midwives and health visitors.
